I started to design more glyphs as their full title is 'Woodside Building & Joinery' though it can always be simplified to just 'Woodside'. I used the same grid system and curved characteristics as the other letterforms. The letter 'N' looked too narrow in a 3x5 grid so extended it to 4. I tried this with the 'G' but it looked too wide - I think it's only when the letterform has a diagonal stem.
Some people stated that the 'O' and 'D' glyphs in Woodside looked too similar so I exaggerated the curve of the corners. I also added rounder corners to the counters. I then added 'building' and 'joinery' underneath the logo in a smaller size, leaving space for an ampersand.
I started to try and design an ampersand but couldn't get the proportions / form looking right so intend used Gotham Black due to its similar line width.
