P/R/D - Logo development / Type

I came across the following typeface but couldn't find a link to download. I wanted to use it due to its geometric and structured form which I wanted to emulate within the branding for Woodside - to reflect their nature of work; precision, accuracy etc.

I used a simple grid, 3x5 as a starting point to the letterforms but had to extend it in some cases, such as the 'W'. I added rounded corners to some aspects of the characters to reference the bespoke nature of their work and the tools they use. This is just an initial design idea and will start to explore incorporating imagery and other typefaces.

I also looked at different formats, using tools or materials as a reference point. The 'side' in Woodside was also a starting point to the orientation of the logo.
