Main title sequence
I will designate 5 seconds per film as opposed to spontaneous placements and transitions - I originally intended for the imagery from one film to be interspersed with others but it was noted in the crit that it was difficult to relate some of the imagery. I therefore need to group all the specific content together, i.e. 0:00 - 0:05 = Harry Potter, 0:06 - 0:10 = Transformers and so on with the addition of type to create a more clarified concept.
The transitions between imagery need to be appear fluid and seamless; I will use the test animations as a basis for the final title piece. I originally chose the best and most effective way of transforming / morphing any image to another, regardless of what film it originated from but as I am now grouping content together, these need to be reconsidered.
Type. The title of each film will appear, possibly before the morphing imagery or during the animation. I intend the type to be neutral in order to keep a consistent aesthetic but will experiment with the title fonts too.
Idents
I am focusing too much on the main title sequence. One idea would consist of a faster and more condensed animation using imagery from a combination of films in order to try and include as much content in the limited time allowance. Alternatively, I could focus on one film inparticular per ident.
