YCN - Clarification

Clarification

As we're in the mid-stage, I thought it'd be useful to document where we are up to and where we are heading. We have devised a Graze logo and begun devising the iconography which is to be featured throughout the brand material.

Graze box

Minimal approach to the cover as in the brief, it states: 'Grazers appreciate the subtleness of the graze box, especially in the work environment where personal mail may be frowned upon.'

We almost want the products to speak for themselves but to be informed through the aforementioned iconography. We want to give the impression of a premium, gourmet product and therefore intend the brand aesthetic to reflect this.

They previously had printed the relevant information (logo, address, stamp) in white (featured below) and we want to bring this back as we believe it created immediate impact - a contrast against the kraft material.

Inside

Iconography applied to the underside of the packaging to reinforce the extent of their range of products - 'over 100 products'. This will be in place of the photographic imagery as the colours don't seem to have as much impact on the kraft stock as opposed to the images on the white stock in the booklet.

Booklet / Nutritional info

Luke suggested including a space in the back of the booklets for writing down notes as it will be predominantly send to offices / workplaces - our intended target market are young professionals. However, the YCN brief also states that the product is also sent to peoples homes; nevertheless, we believe this could be useful for all, just as an additional insert - could it be perforated?

Highlight on health and nutrition aspects, possibly include the graphs featured on their website within the insert to reinforce this aspect and showcase the benefits of snacking on Graze.

Direct mail / marketing campaign

We have initial design ideas but will begin to explore these in more depth - one being a teaser box containing just one of their many products. This will be reinforced through the application of one icon, giving an insight into what is inside the box.
