Visual Language - Anamorphic letters

We were asked in groups to create a letter in a 3 dimension state over a series of 3 or more planes (a sequence through space). Anamorphic illusions can only be appreciated from a particular vantage point. Similarly to the channel 4 idents, we had to 'break up' a letter into several pieces and position these at certain distances apart. We first began cutting the letter 'M' directly into 4 pieces in a viewfinder to see how the process works but as each section was the same size, the scale was offset when viewed at the correct place. However, this is what we came up with:
