In our crit, it was noted that we needed a reason for the promotion/campaign - is it simply going to be quotes extracted from literature and delivered in various ways or is there something which ties it all together; a sort of reasoning behind it all? Although by taking quotes out of context and applying them to posters, bunting etc will engage people to read, we decided to focus on the 'don't read this' design as Jo deemed this most effective. By reading the poster, you are opposing the statement it outlines - it immediately creates interest.
However, we were not too sure whether to apply this to the posters or other materials therefore Beth suggested a small leaflet/book which outlined all of the quotes featured in our campaign and where it originated from.
